- Co-ordinated dancing
- Creative designing
- Relaxation techniques
All courses and activities are led by qualified experts. You can, of course, design your own activity programme independently: if you require any assistance with this, we are here to help.
he Styrian Salzkammergut is a paradise for walkers and hikers. Go walking and explore the surrounding mountains, the alms, the Salzkammergut Way, the six lakes (Six Lakes Trail) and the other footpaths in the area. There are also numerous visitor destinations within easy reach, whether by car, cycle or on foot. Alternatively, take your bike and cycle the R19 Salzkammergut or the Trans-Salzkammergut cycle paths. We can arrange cycle hire for our guests, as required (E-bikes or mountain bikes).
Climbing enthusiasts can train in the Bouldering centre (Boulderbox) in Bad Mitterndorf. For tennis fans, there are two locations where you can play – the Tennis Club Bad Mitterndorf and the Sportwerk-KG. The Sportwerk-KG also offers squash courts. For golfers, there are three golf courses within a radius of 30 km (approximately 20 miles) – the Golfclub Ausseerland in Bad Mitterndorf (9 holes); Golfclub Schloss Pichlarn and the Golfclub Bad Ischl, both with 18 hole courses and both 30 km away.
The Salza reservoir lies in a protected area of outstanding natural beauty between the foothills of the Grimming and the Kemetgebirge mountains. Hire a pedalo, canoe or a rowing boat and explore the region on the water.
The ski region Loser-Sandling Altaussee has 29 km of ski slopes and is ideal for beginners, advanced skiers and families with children. The Tauplitzalm, reached by an 8-seat cable car, is a highlight for all those who love particularly long downhill runs.
The wide valley basin around Bad Mitterndorf is free of mist or fog and is ideal for walking in the winter snow, for riding in horse-drawn sleighs or for cross-country skiing. There is a 130 km network of interconnected cross-country ski trails and also, for walkers, specially signposted winter walking paths. Put on snow shoes and be the first to leave a footprint in the powdery snow. Discover for yourself the peaceful winter landscape of the Styrian Salzkammergut.
If the temperatures are low enough, you can go ice-skating on the nearby lakes or you can learn the sport of alpine-style curling and practice on any of a number of natural-ice curling rinks in the whole of the Aussee region.
Have fun in the Salzkammergut!
